Braxton Bonds

Coach Bonds is a point guard from Nashville, Tn. He played high school basketball for Drew Maddux at CPA, where he was a 3 year starter and won 2 state championships along with multiple All-District, All-Region, and All-State awards his sophomore, junior, and senior year.  He went on the play Division 1 College basketball at the University of Tennessee. If Braxton would have been eligible to play, he had earned the backup point guard position as a freshman at the SEC level. 

 

After one year at Tennessee, Braxton transferred to a Junior College where he won first team all conference by averaging 15.0 ppg, 7.0 rebounds, and 6 assists, while leading the entire nation in steals per game (4.1). Braxton transferred again to Houston Baptist University (D1) where he was a 3 year starter and an all conference player. In Coach Braxton's best year at HBU he averaged 11.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game. 

 

Coach Bonds brings a ton of experience and knowledge into the training game, not just with how to improve your basketball skills, but with college recruitment, transferring, and how to overcome adversity. He has played at all different levels (high major, junior college, and mid major) and loves sharing the truth about each level. 

 

His passion is bringing energy and encouragement to every workout to push players to be mentally strong and push past their own limitations!
